Capital Recognized for Data-Driven Transformation of Student Success

Campus Labs, a partner in data-driven innovation for higher education, recently recognized Capital University as a “Rising Star” in its collaboration to advance student learning and success.

Campus Labs works with colleges and universities to enable data-empowered decision making that supports key areas of analytics and insight; improvement and accountability; teaching and learning; retention and success; student engagement; and skills and achievement.

The award recognizes campuses that, within one year of implementing their Campus Labs tool(s), “have already shown they’re on a unique and promising path to sustainable success.” Capital was singled out for “its commitment to best practices in enterprise onboarding and dedication to gathering a cross-campus team of functional and technical executive leaders to successfully execute a priority-based launch plan.”

Provost Jody Fournier said Capital University has been working on improving the success of students in an intentional and focused way for the last eight years.

“Recently, we achieved record-high levels of student success and have removed significant barriers to student learning and engagement. This award recognizes the hard work and transformational results of many faculty and staff to promote and enhance student learning and success,” Fournier said.
